Meals on Wheels
Transition Year students help with the delivery of hot meals to the Elderly in Skerries on a daily basis during the school term.
Students collect for the Trocaire Lenten campaign annually.
St. Vincent de Paul Hampers
Each class organises a hamper collection for St. Vincent de Paul before Christmas. Each Year the College gives the Skerries branch of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in excess of 40 food hampers.
St. Michael’s House Christmas Party
Each Year Sixth Year students host a Christmas Party for children and adults from St. Michael’s House.
Students are involved in various Charity Collections in Skerries: Daffodil Day, Aware, Santa Bear, Wheelchair Assoc. etc.
Missions to Developing Countries
Staff and Students have travelled to Peru in 2003, Poland in 2004, Kenya in 2005 and Mexico in 2006 & 2011 to help build and improve facilities at selected charitable organisations. They raised money to fund various projects and carried out the work involved in these projects. Some of the projects undertaken were adding a wing to a hospital in Kenya, building a school in Peru, helping in an orphanage in Poland and Mexico, saving Turtles in Mexico and lots of other activities.
